10th Year Gala: "La Noche de La Esperanza"- On November 11, 2006, La Esperanza celebrated its 10th year anniversary and honored their founders and supporters, with over 300 guests.
This year, we honored Allison Burris Castellanos with the Sister Rosa Alvarez Award. The Sister Rosa Alvarez Award was created to honor an individual who is active in the Hispanic community and who has demonstrated and portrayed a presence of continuing dedication and compassion. The award recipient has demonstrated what one person can do to affect the lives of people by offering hope, strength and kindness of heart and their service has positively impacted the community.
