By volunteering at La Esperanza, you make a difference in the lives of those we serve. We are currently seeking volunteers to fill the following positions:

Victims Services Volunteer
The Victim Services Assistant will assist the Victim Service Program Coordinator in providing non-English speaking Hispanic victims of crimes with case management, referrals to other agencies, filing for Protection from Abuse (PFA) orders, outreach & education, group support sessions, and other services that will benefit the client and promote a safe and stable lifestyle.

Education Program Volunteer
The Education Program volunteer will assist with adult ELL class for students needing improvement for reading and writing skills and/or assist the program coordinator with education related projects and duties for class preparation; Pparticipate in children's programs such as Girl Scouts/and or Soccer League, or other children's activities and events; andP provide support during community activities, courses, and events hosted by La Esperanza's Education Program.

Family Development Volunteer
The Family Development Assistant's primary responsibility will be to assist the Program Coordinator in assessing the client's needs and to provide our clients with the tools and resources they need to lead a productive and self-sustainable life.
