Jenaro D. Simpson, President of the Board of La Esperanza Community Center. He is a retired economist and currently a member of the Development Committee and of the Board of The Way Home in Georgetown, as well as, a member of its prison ministry and mentoring programs.
Pat Duchesne, Vice President of the Board of La Esperanza Community Center. Mrs. Duchesne is retired and also serves as President of the Interfaith Mission, President of Sussex Smiles Dental Clinic and is the Chairperson of Social Concerns at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
David G. Burton, Treasurer of the Board of La Esperanza Community Center. He is a retired businessman, a board member of the Delaware Community Foundation, and a Governor appointed member of the Delaware Hispanic Consortium.
Allison Burris Castellanos, an English as a Second Language Instructor at Delaware Technical & Community College. She is a board member of La Red Health Center and El Centro Cultural.
Pastor Israel Figueroa, Pastor of Iglesia de Dios Maranatha, in Seaford, Delaware. Serves on the Governor Advisory Council on Hispanic Affairs, volunteers at the Nanticoke Hospital, and has served the Sussex County Hispanic community for over seven years.
Sister Maria Mairlot, a Carmelite Sister of Charity and an active member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Georgetown, Delaware.
Lillibel Khor, Born and raised in the Republic of Panama, Mrs. Khor has made Delaware her home along with her husband Archie and their four children. She has over 20 years in the modeling and fashion industry and is a former Mrs. Pennsylvania International and executive director for the state pageant. Mrs. Khor is also the founder and owner of a chain of women's apparel and accessory stores in Delaware, Tiger Lili.
Gerson Guox, the owner of La Quetzalteca Restaurant. Gerson is happily married and has two children. Mr. Goux is a businessman and hopes to continue to learn and grow in the business industry.
Captain John Yeomans, holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Criminal Justice from University of Delaware and a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Wilmington College. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville, Southern Police Institute School of Command and a member of the Society of Human Resources. Captain Yeoman is a twenty-four-year veteran of the Delaware State Police and currently commands Troop #7 in Lewes, Delaware. Previous to this assignment, he served as the Human Resources Director for the State's single largest law enforcewment agency. Captain Yeomans is the founder and Statewide Critical Incident Stress Management Response Team coordinator for the Delaware State Police. Outside the Delaware State Police, he is an adjunct professor at Wilmington College and also serves as an instructor for Benchmark Professionals, Inc. Most recently Captain Yeomans served as a subject matter expert and developed workshops for the California P.O.S.T. symposium on best practices for recruitment and retention of police officers.
