About Us

La Esperanza was founded in 1996, primarily to provide support to the increasing number of immigrant workers arriving in Sussex County from Mexico and Guatemala. Since then, we have evolved into a multi-service support organization that assists with the assimilation of Latinos into the broader Sussex County population.

Since our founding, La Esperanza has provided services to over 75,000 clients. We currently serve 8,000 individuals and families each year, including children.

La Esperanza is centrally located in the heart of the Latino Community in Georgetown, Delaware. This makes us easily accessible to our clients.
