Our Partnerships

During our 10-year history, La Esperanza is proud to have initiated a number of important service entities for Latinos that now exist as independent organizations.

In 2001, for example, La Esperanza created the region's first health center for Latino clients, La Red Health Center, which we helped to successfully achieve its own non-profit status in 2004. La Red has since become a federally recognized center for primary health care for low income Sussex County residents.

We also began the first child care center for Latinos, First Steps/Primeros Pasos, which continues to serve our local population base.

We proudly partner with El Centro Cultural an organization dedicated to promote the Latino art and culture through many activities including the famous "Festival Hispano" in Sussex County.
